End of 2023

As the last month of 2023 has come to an end and slowly trickles into the new year, we are amazed at all that we have accomplished together in our inaugural year of Young Minds in the Community. Our members consistently showed up for our monthly meetings and various events. We would be remiss if we didn’t take a moment to stop and express our endless appreciation for you and your support.

Now, to recap the month of December for our community: we gathered for a community works session, providing a space for collaboration and mindfulness as many members were in finals and completing end-of-year projects. We continued by hosting our First Annual Vision Board at Batta Fulkerson Law Firm. The night was filled with laughter and reflection, reminding each individual to pause and acknowledge the growth that has taken place. Our members engaged with a wide range of genres, singing, and taking moments to slow down in life. To conclude our Vision Board Night, our members presented their visual vision boards to fellow community members not for comparison but to provide insight into where support and accountability can take place.

In conclusion, the Vision Board Night and the month of December were a success, and we will carry over the momentum into the new year. We are thankful for all the memories created in 2023, looking forward to growing professional and personally in 2024 and being surrounded by like-minded individuals.
