A Journey to Self-Empowerment

November was the season for self-empowerment, recognizing how the integration of self-care is crucial when serving a greater purpose. Our members welcomed new individuals to our monthly meeting, including Patrick Della, the Outreach Manager for Chase Bank, who will be facilitating a workshop early next year. Highlighting the amazing conversations that took place, one of our members stated that self-empowerment is about maintaining integrity and discipline to accomplish all that you want to achieve.

As Young Minds gears up to finish the year with a bang, we are looking forward to hosting two community events prior to the end of the year. One takes place on December 15th at the Bulldog Building, where our members will welcome the community to our open space to cultivate a safe environment for creating vision boards and setting individual intentions for the New Year.

Our second event will take place on December 30th as Young Minds partners with a local church in Paradise Hills known as House of Praise. We will be feeding the unhoused community and providing hygiene kits. Our intention is to create momentum to learn and start the new year with a solid foundation, building on the lessons from our first year.  Lastly, a huge shout-out to SD Voyager Magazine for covering a story on our Founder and highlighting Young Minds in the Community, we look forward to the amazing work we can do together.
