Community Connections

As summer unfolded in our community, the members of Young Minds came together to create a space where we could share food, gather around the fire, and connect deeply over our summer plans. It was a time not just for camaraderie, but also for planning the community service initiatives that will define our next few months. For us at Young Minds, service to our community is at the heart of everything we do.

Amidst shared laughter and discussions, we decided to take on the task of cleaning up a local park in Southeast San Diego. This project not only aims to beautify our neighborhood but also seeks to forge partnerships with other organizations passionate about being in the community 

During our  monthly meeting, we also reflected on our ongoing recruitment efforts. As we focus on building our community we believe in the power of quality over quantity, ensuring that every member shares our dedication to making a positive impact within our community and elsewhere. 

Looking ahead, we are confident in the role Young Minds plays within our community. Our commitment to service remains unwavering, fueled by the support and encouragement we receive from those we serve. Together, we're excited to continue learning, growing, and contributing to the community that has welcomed and embraced the Young Minds.
