Back 2 School Community Event

As our members remain busy during the summer season, Young Minds in the Community hosted a local cleanup event. This gathering allowed us to connect with new attendees who share the common goal of serving the community, such as by cleaning up a local park.

Later in the month, Young Minds in the Community participated in a Back-to-School event at Chase Bank. We had the opportunity to share information about our organization and our upcoming events. The event was a success, with a large turnout of youth and their parents learning more about Young Minds in the Community and how to get involved. It was impactful to see members come together and introduce their children to these resources early in their lives. Many parents who visited our booth expressed a desire for more people to learn about YMIC, motivating us to participate in more community events and further promote our organization. We are moving forward with another volunteer opportunity for next month, which has been shared on our Instagram. We hope to see new individuals attend these volunteer events and our upcoming meetings.
